Trek From Yuksom

Another striking feature of this monastery is that you can only reach it on foot. A 45-minute walk to this monastery offers great sightseeing and a chance to admire the nature. The monastery is bordered with a colorful religious flag marking it as a sacred place. Photography in the monastery is not permitted without prior permission.
Khecheopalri Lake
The lake is a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists. The lake is renowned for its wish granting abilities and called a Wishing Lake. There are folklores that no leave has the ability to stay on the surface of the lake. Nestled amidst dense forest the lake is a serene sight to be in awe of. The lake is a sacred one hence you do not get a chance to play in the water as all the water activities are prohibited.
Rabdentse Ruins
Rabdentse was once the capital of Sikkim. It was the 16th capital which was invaded by the Nepalese. The ruins of the place offer you a chance to peek into the life in Sikkim some years back. From here you can capture a picturesque view of the Kanchenjunga Range. The ruins are kept in a good condition and a beautiful flower bed welcomes you to the main entrance.
Pemayangtse Monastery
The place is of great interest as it homes a masterpiece, a smaller wooden replica of Santopalri, the palace of Rinpoche. The miniature is the result of 5 years of hard work and craftsmanship of Dungzin Rimpoche. Though the monastery is a wide 118 kilometers from the main city, the pristine countryside along the path and the mesmerizing beauty of the monastery makes you journey so far truly worth. You can also witness the murals on the wall paintings restating the stories of Lamaism.
Sewaro Rock Garden
This is an artificial rock garden developed by the Department of Tourism of Sikkim. The garden presents you beautiful rock carving, structures, paths made of rocks and some mesmerizing pools and gardens. You can savor your hobby of nature photography here as the gardens offer panoramic views. Renowned as the best picnic spot of the town, the rock garden has a good cafeteria where you can have fast food with your family.
Singshore Bridge
The Singshore Bridge is the second highest suspended bridge in Asia. With a height of 220 meters, the incredible bridge is spread on 198 meters. It is at a distance of 5 kilometers from Pelling. It was built more than a decade ago and offers a scenic view to the visitors. The Sikkim tourism department is going to establish a bungee jumping station on the bridge very soon.

pelling is a city which is full of beautiful landscapes, lush greenery, flowerscapes. had a comfortable and pleasant stay at lumthang resorts. would recommend the roads to made more driver friendly, as majority still are kachha roads. the lights/ illumination in the main market as well as resorts is also very less, making visibility difficult during night travel. availability of south indian and jain food is scarce and hardly have 1 or 2 restaurants serving them. on positive aspects, it's a town

we went to pelling, ravangla and namchi. we had a fabulous time there. they were courteous and professional enough to give us a pleasant experience throughout our journey. everything was superb & excellent, we have enjoyed our trip most of them pelling hotel magpie chestnut retreat was a great experience & their property was full of all kind luxury facilities i will rate them as 5/5 it was so good.thanks siya & team of bharat holidays.

So search for the perfect next destination concluded with Pelling.
